Football: a sport original to America, traditionally celebrated every year in the ultimate match between the top teams of the National Football League. Super Bowl LI will take place this year in Houston, Texas on February 5th. The New England Patriots will be defending their championship from the Atlanta Falcons. People celebrate the Super Bowl with parties centered around the sport and an abundance of food. Many may feel guilty for splurging so much on food during the game, so here is a solution that allows the fans to root for their team and satisfy their hunger guiltlessly.

The traditional foods at Super Bowl parties include wings, beef chili, layered taco dip, cheese burgers, and anything covered in bacon. Consumed in such high amounts, these foods high in fat and cholesterol are damaging to organs and the general health of the consumer. As a host, you want to serve foods that are guaranteed crowd pleasers, which unfortunately are the unhealthy options. However, this list of healthy options will make the game day more fun knowing you aren’t harming your body.

1) Buffalo Cauliflower Bites and Ranch Dip:
This option is fiber-filled with the same texture and flavor as chicken wings.

2) Turkey Chili:

4) Honey Porter Glazed Chicken Skewers:
This sweet and spicy entree has considerably less fat than a burger, but is just as savory.
