A Buffalo Summer tradition is coming to an end as the weekly Thursday summer night concerts will no longer be happening. It has been a tradition in Buffalo for more than 30 years that every Thursday night in downtown there was a concert. Erin Mara, the assistant general manager of Canalside Media Group, says its all in effort to get the best available bands for Canalside Live throughout the summer. There will be no more weekly concerts this summer, but instead a schedule that fits around available musicians and other things that are happening in Buffalo. The new concert season will begin on June 28 and will run until August 27. You can purchase tickets at the Canalside information kiosks.
